Dr John Scott is a dedicated and enthusiastic Emergency Physician with a deep connection to the Central Coast.
John graduated with Honours from the University of Nottingham, England in 2008 and then in 2009 he emigrated to Australia, landing initially in Perth where his love for emergency medicine was catalysed.
In 2010, Dr Scott moved to the Central Coast and began his formal training in Emergency Medicine at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. Experience in these busy emergency departments, augmented with rotations in paediatrics, anaesthetics and intensive care medicine, has allowed Dr Scott to develop exceptional clinical skills reflecting the needs of the Central Coast’s population.
Dr Scott’s training stretches beyond the Central Coast, having worked for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Alice Springs, retrieving critically unwell patients from some of the most remote and austere corners of Australia.
Dr Scott has also worked at Children’s Hospital Westmead, a tertiary referral centre for our state’s sickest children.
